About the Irish Grand National

Irish Grand National

Run at Fairyhouse in April the Irish Grand National is a National Hunt Steeplechase open to horses aged 5 years-old or older and is run over 3 miles 5 furlongs. The race is a handicap with horses tackling 23 fences and is always held on Easter Monday. 

The 2010 contest will be run on April 5th and boasts a prize fund of €250,000
